Open PANDO File

The PANDO format and extension files are used by the Pando program created by Pando Networks.

The Pando software is a light and easy-to-use program that allows to send large files between individuals using a P2P model developed by Pando Networks in the mid-2000's, and which is no longer available.

Pando's operation was simple: the user would upload a certain file and share the PANDO file with whoever he wanted to have access to it.

The receiver would open it with the client and automatically start the download. Its advantage was the simplicity of use, since it had few configuration options, and the content was quickly downloaded from the company's servers and from other users at the same time.

Pando was, without a doubt, one of the first social networks, with the option to exchange files.

Although initially, the PANDO files were designed to be sent to a specific receiver, because these large files did not fit in an email, the design of the service itself allowed it to be used on a large scale, and everything could be sent type of files.
